The Business Continuity Standards
There are a number of British Standards associated with business continuity. BS 25999-1:2006, BS 25999-2:2007 and BS 25777:2008 all provide details the requirements of establishing, implementing, operating, exercising, maintaining and improving a documented Business Continuity Management System (BCMS). BS 25777:2008 is specifically connected to IT Continiuity. These are available electronically and as a hard copy from The British Standards Institute (BSI).*
